Please read these terms carefully before using Betty by OddsEven. By using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
The short version: Betty is a betting analytics tool that analyses your own betting history. She provides information — not financial advice, not betting tips, and not predictions. You make all betting decisions yourself. OddsEven accepts no liability for any financial losses arising from your use of the service.
Betty by OddsEven ("Betty", "the service") is operated by OddsEven (Pty) Ltd ("OddsEven", "we", "us"), a company registered in South Africa.
Betty is a betting analytics service delivered via WhatsApp and an online account portal. Betty analyses the betslips you submit to her and provides information about your own betting history, including profit and loss, performance by sport and market, accumulator performance and spending patterns, together with anonymised aggregate patterns drawn from other consenting users. Betty does not place bets on your behalf, does not offer financial advice, and does not predict the outcome of sporting events.
By accessing or using Betty, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Betty. Sports betting is legal in South Africa for adults, but you are responsible for ensuring that your use of Betty complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
By using Betty, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that sports betting is legal in your jurisdiction.
Important: Betty is an information and analytics tool. Nothing Betty says should be interpreted as a recommendation to place any specific bet, a prediction of any sporting outcome, or financial advice of any kind. All betting decisions are made solely by you.
Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
Betty's analysis is based on the betslips you submit and on sporting results obtained from third-party providers to settle those betslips. While we take reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of information presented, we cannot guarantee that all information Betty provides is correct, current or complete.
Betty is a new and continuously improving AI product. She will occasionally make mistakes — an incorrect data point, an outdated result, or an inaccurate analysis. We are working constantly to improve her accuracy and she gets better with every update. When something doesn't feel right, type “feedback” in the chat and send it, and Betty will ask what you'd like to share. That's how she gets sharper — for you, for us, and for everyone using her.
Errors can and do occur. Examples include but are not limited to:
OddsEven accepts no liability whatsoever for any financial loss, betting loss, or other loss or damage arising from: (a) inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information provided by Betty; (b) any bet placed in reliance on information provided by Betty; (c) technical failures or interruptions to the service; or (d) any other use or misuse of the service. You use Betty entirely at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, OddsEven's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to OddsEven in the three months preceding the claim.
Betty's Sense Check feature compares an unplaced betslip against your own betting history and, where you have consented, anonymised community patterns, and returns observations based on that history. You acknowledge and agree that:
OddsEven is a betting analytics tool, not a bookmaker. We don't manage stakes, place bets, or control how you use the information Betty provides. But we do care about the experience our users have — and we've built features specifically designed to help you stay informed about your own betting behaviour.
Betty's personal insights feature gives you visibility into your own patterns — which sports you're having better returns on, which ACCA legs are recurring weaknesses, how your spend is tracking over time. This information is designed to help you make more considered decisions. What you do with it is always your choice.
If you feel your betting is becoming a concern, we encourage you to use Betty's budget and spend tracking features, and to reach out for support if needed. The National Responsible Gambling Programme offers free, confidential support at 0800 006 008 (toll-free, 24 hours).
OddsEven reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where there is evidence of misuse of the service, including but not limited to circumventing service limits or using the service in ways inconsistent with these terms.
New users receive a 21-day free trial of Betty. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. Your card will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the end of your trial, your card will be charged R79 and your subscription will begin.
Betty is charged at R79 per month after the free trial period ends. Payments are processed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. To cancel, contact us at hello@oddseven.ai or manage your subscription through the account portal.
OddsEven reserves the right to change subscription pricing or the pricing model at any time — including, without limitation, changes to the monthly subscription amount or a transition to an alternative pricing structure such as a usage-based or token model. We will notify active subscribers at least 30 days before any such change takes effect. Continued use of Betty after the effective date of a pricing change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You agree not to use Betty:
OddsEven reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use terms, without notice and without refund.
All content, branding, features and functionality of Betty by OddsEven are the property of OddsEven (Pty) Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This includes, without limitation, the following brand names and feature names which OddsEven claims as trademarks, whether registered or unregistered:
Use of any of these names, or anything confusingly similar, without OddsEven's express written permission is prohibited. OddsEven intends to register these trademarks with CIPC. The absence of a registered trademark symbol does not constitute a waiver of any intellectual property rights.
You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any OddsEven content without our express written permission.
Your use of Betty is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Please read it carefully.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. OddsEven does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, OddsEven disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
OddsEven may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via WhatsApp or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Betty after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
